Binghamton Sarbojonin Durga Puja 2015

The Bengali Community of Greater Binghamton cordially invites you with your family and friends to Durga Puja celebration on October 24, 2015 at the India Cultural Center in Vestal.

Greater Binghamton, the birthplace of IBM and home to a reputed university, is the hub of the scenic southern-tier region in upstate New York. This region comprises of Binghamton, Endicott, Johnson City and Vestal, along with numerous adjoining towns along the New York-Pennsylvania border. It is also home to a vibrant Bengali community that celebrates occasions like Durga Puja, Saraswati Puja and Noboborsho every year.

The Greater Binghamton Bengali Community will celebrate its 8th Durga Puja on October 24, 2015 in the town of Vestal, NY.

We need accurate head count for making lunch & dinner arrangements. Because of this logistical constraint, walk-in attendees will be limited to 20 people only, on first come first served basis.


We will continue our tradition of publishing the Binghamton Durga Puja magazine, "Anjali 2015". Please submit your contributions in the form of composition/ articles/ poems/ drawings/ pictures by Aug 16, 2015 at or mail to: Pradipta Chatterji, 1508 Campus Drive, Vestal, NY 13850. Hard copies of "Anjali 2015" will be available on the Puja day.
